OFS offers a percentage of net revenues to each group that volunteer at each game. Permanent locations in the stadium offer a higher percentage of net revenues. Each group will be trained by a member of the OFS staff. Knowledge of inventory, sanitation, and some food preparation is preferred but not required.
OFS offers as many as 72 games (the entire season) or as few as 5 games. The higher the commitment, the better revenue generating location or concession stand offered.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR FUNDRAISING GROUPS
In order to qualify as a not-for-profit organization, the volunteer group must provide OFS with the following:
1. Group must provide a copy of their general liability insurance policy in the amount of $1,000,000 each occurrence.
2. Proof of their not-for-profit status (a document from the State Treasurer with a volunteer tax number)
3. A list of volunteers in their group.
4. A letter outlining what their group does and what they intend to do with the money they earn through the program. A group cannot participate in the not-for-profit program until all of the above criteria have been met.
