The Delmarva Shorebirds are excited to announce that Ryan Minor will return for his third season as manager in 2012 and his fifth overall on the coaching staff. Troy Mattes will serve as pitching coach for a third season while Einar Diaz joins the staff for his first season as field coach.
Minor League Baseball recently did a feature on Bobby & Dylan Bundy. Bobby pitched for the Shorebirds in 2010 and Dylan was the O's first round draft pick in 2011. It has been reported on MASNsports.com that Dylan is likely to start the season with the Shorebirds.

The Delmarva Shorebirds are pleased to announce that prominent MASNsports.com bloggers Roch Kubatko, Steve Melewski and Pete Kerzel will attend the Shorebirds Hot Stove Banquet on January 28, 2012 at the Delmar VFW.
The Shorebirds have packed the promotional schedule with a litany of fireworks shows. In total, the Shorebirds will host 13 postgame fireworks shows in 2012 including the biggest of the season on July 3.
One of the greatest Shorebirds to every play at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium, Orlando Cabrera, retired from Major League Baseball on Wednesday night. Over 15 seasons in the big leagues, Cabrera totaled 1,985 games, 123 home runs, 854 RBIs and 213 stolen bases.
